Time for us to see all the Core Set Heroes. These are the Rebels who thwart the Imperial Schemes and overcome the threat posed by Darth Vader and the Evil Galactic Empire™.
First off, Diala Passil and Jyn Odan.
Diala's force talents and skill with her lightsaber, if she is lucky enough to get it in the campaign, make short work of the Imperial forces. Jyn's speed and accuracy however mean that she is always a threat to anyone stupid enough to engage her.
Next, Gaarkhan and Fenn Signis.
No one wants to face an unstoppable wookie with a power weapon. Meanwhile Fenn is able to take out the enemy from range and clear a path for his wookie friend.
Finally we have Mak Eshka'rey and Gideon Argus.
Mak's ability to befuddle the enemy constantly confuses and confounds their attempts to stop the rebels. Meanwhile Gideon leadership skills are unmatched and he can rally the forces to astounding victories.
All of these are minis that were wonderful to paint.
Again, I couldn't have done any of this without following Sorastro's Painting Tutorials, and I thank him for all of his work and allowing me to learn how to pain.

Han, Chewie, IG-88, and of course Boba Fett
It's time to see our favourite smugglers, and the bounty hunters who chase them.
Han and Chewbacca are the two most iconic characters from Star Wars for me, and I am glad they came out so well.
A wonderful looking droid.
But of course, the most popular character in Star Wars, even if not the most well known by non fans, is Boba Fett. This is by far the most complicated miniature I have ever painted, and he took me nearly 20 hours to complete.
From the detailed colour scheme, to the symbol on the shoulder, everything turned out amazing.
I hope you think he looks as wonderful as I do.
Again, thanks to Sorastro's Painting Channel for teaching me everything I know, and without whom I would never be able to do this.

As always, you can click on the image to see a more detailed version.
Han was always being pursued, not just my the Empire, but by bounty hunters sent by the evil Jabba the Hutt.

Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?
Luke Skywalker is missing...
Well he was, until now. Now I have photos of him painted and ready to go.
FFG have announced a new Luke Skywalker figure for Imperial Assault coming in the future, him as a Jedi Knight from Return of the Jedi, but for now here he is in all his Tatooine goodness.
He is a fairly simple miniature, but the colour blending on the pants and shirt make this really interesting in ways that aren't fully obvious from the photos; which were again taken using nothing but natural light.
I hope you like them.
Once again, thanks to Sorastro for his wonderful guides.

DungeonQuest Minis Fully Painted
It's been ages since I have posted, but the other day my father came over and we spent some time taking some amazing photos of the minis I have been painting. I will try to post some every few days over the next few weeks.
Taken with a real camera and some real equipment; and all taken with just natural light. They might have been better with more professional lighting, but I think they look great.
Here is the first lot, my completely painted DungeonQuest minis.
Two of these have been posted here before, and they were quick and fast jobs; however the others were minis I took a little more time and attention on. However definitely not as much as the Imperial Assault stuff, and no where near as much as Boba Fett, I will save him up for later.
Anyway, because pictures are better than words, here they are.
Click on the image to see them in more detail.
If you want to see the original artwork that I was copying, you can look at the Hero Sheets PDF from FFG website (8Mb)
Hopefully you like them.
